General Ledger or Fixed Assets Accountant

Shell Shared Services (Asia) B.V. General Ledger or Fixed Assets Accountant Responsibilities:

* Perform monthly close activities;
* Respond to rent and parking inquiries;
* Prepare asset expenditure and other asset reports;
* Set up capital projects as requested per Shell Group policy;
* Set up capital budget annually;
* Perform asset master changes and asset transactions/verification;
* Prepare monthly account analysis;
* Execute specific year-end functions such as fixed asset jobs and general ledger account carry-forwards.

Shell Shared Services (Asia) B.V. Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related business degree. CPA an advantage;
* Minimum of 2 years experience in Accounting and Finance Function;
* With background in General Ledger and Fixed assets;
* Basic knowledge in Process Controls & Compliance or similar field;
* Exposure and knowledge on usage of ERP - GSAP/SAP preferred;
* Strong command in English communication, both oral and written;
* Highly organized - being able to commit in meeting deadlines;
* With clear demonstration of teamwork, flexibility, change adaptability, initiative, analytical thinking, and problem solving capacity;
* Willing to work on night shift, extended office hours and to be based in Makati City.
