GENERAL ACCOUNTANT
(National Capital Reg)
Responsibilities:
* Bank reconciliations
* Cash reporting
* Daily sales and order reports
* Preparation of sales tax report / returns
* Cost accounting support / reporting
* Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
* at least 5 years of working experience in the accounting field, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
* has basic knowledge of US GAAP
* has an Accounting or Finance graduate degree (preferred). May also be a BS Economics or BS Business Management relative to Finance/Accountancy.
* Preferably a CPA.
* has an excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and pays very keen attention to details.
* possesses very good English communication skills, both written and oral.
* is highly proficient in MS Excel.
* has good practical knowledge of Oracle and other MS applications (PowerPoint and Word) a plus.
* is a good team player with good people skills.
* has the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
* is willing to work on a changing schedule, including the night-shift.
